The KTH Royal Institute of Technology, founded in 1827, is the largest of Sweden’s universities of technology, accounting for one-third of Sweden’s technical research and engineering education capacity at university level. The OFFIS, research institute was founded in 1991 as a not-for-profit organization by the State of Lower Saxony, the University of Oldenburg, as well as professors of the departments of computer science and related faculties.
