The Panorama partners recently released the first videos in a series that takes us on a tour of the Panorama toolchain. The initial contributions include an Introduction, MEMO: Multi-objective Evolution of Models and the presentation of the paper, Timing Analysis of Car-to-Car communications systems. Join us for the Automotive@Eclipse session, part of the Community Day at EclipseCon 2020. In the first part of the session you’ll hear from each of the five automotive related working groups who work in areas from the development of an autonomous driving toolchain to traffic simulations and measurement data management. In the second half, Panorama will be presented to the community before a discussion on future initiatives to grow the synergies amongst the working groups.

The International Workshop on Modeling in Automotive System and Software Engineering (MASE) would like to invite the PANORAMA community to participate in this year’s workshop. The deadline for submissions is July 22nd.
MASE 2020 aims at providing a forum for practitioners and researchers from industry and academia in which novel, innovative, model-based solutions to current and future challenges in automotive system and software development can be presented and discussed. Another important objective is the identification of new research problems arising from current trends.

The Panorama toolchain leverages several Eclipse Foundation projects including Eclipse APP4MC and Eclipse Capra. The toolchain will be enhanced both technically and in audience reach by the acceptance of these APP4MC projects for inclusion in the Google Summer of Code 2020. GSoC is an annual programming scholarship organized by Google that brings together students who want to contribute to open source projects, project mentors and the organizations hosting these projects.” Three projects have been accepted for the GSoC 2020 program, in the areas of visualization, traceability and timing analysis.

After 3 days full of discussions, hacking, and coding we successfully finished the first hackathon at KTH University. 34 persons from 18 companies and research organizations have presented their results so far and paved the road for our future research.

The Panorama project was exhibiting at EclipseCon Europe 2019. We have been part of the Eclipse Research Booth among other fascinating research projects. During the regular session program, Harald Mackamul presented Panorama in the session “Meet & Greet the Eclipse Research Project Community”.
